ISSS recommends to adopt a patient questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to standardize the evaluation of the disturbances caused by palmar hyperhidrosis. The patient is asked to reply to the questionnaire before and three months after undergoing upper thoracic sympathectomy. Further details about the study are given in the cover letter accompanying the questionnaire. It is emphasized that the questionnaire will be kept strictly confidential.
